TuTu

Jana sent a package the other day and in it was this bead necklace and a tutu for Shalon. It's her Christmas present but she got it a little early. Shalon calls it her tutoot. It's really cute. She likes to sing ring around the rosie in it and fall down.

The Mover...

Cutler is a little mover. He started crawling and hasn't stopped. He has started trying to pull himself up on things . I use the diaper box to stash all the baby toys in. He pulled himself on top of it. This kid is into everything. If it's got cords and is electronic he is immediately attracted to it. I finally just covered up the PS3 and modem and stuff with couch pillows so he'd quit yanking and chewing on them. He has pulled the computer on himself twice and is constantly pulling the John Deere tractor onto himself because it isn't heavy enough. My prediction is he'll be walking by 10 months. He is definately keeping me on my toes.

Cutler's Surgery

Cutler had to have surgery on October 7th to have a skin tag removed. He was a little trooper and it didn't seem to affect him at all. Waking up from anethesia wasn't fun but otherwise he was good. The nurses loved him and thought he was a doll. They put the sunglasses on him when I went to pull the car around... I didn't bring a camera but took these pictures on my phone.

Primary Program

After returning from Mt. Rushmore I got to play for the Primary Program in Sacrament Meeting. It was my first time ever playing in Sacrament Meeting. I was extremely nervous to say the least. My leg was shaking really bad and my hands were freezing cold but I did it... Now I get to play again in November for Thanksgiving. It's been a learning experience. I definately need to practice more. I've really put it off since the program...

Mt. Rushmore/ Reptile Gardens part 3

September 26th, 2009 - We went to Mount Rushmore and walked around. We ate lunch in Keystone. I got buffalo something or other which was nasty. Then we went to Reptile Gardens. While at Reptile Gardens we caught a snake show and a gator show. Then it was on home...

Devil's Tower/ Mt. Rushmore trip part 2

We stayed at the La Quinta in Rapid City. It's part of the Watiki Water Park. We had a lot of fun. The life guards were extremely laid back to non-existent. We did whatever we wanted and I'm sure broke the rules but that was just part of the fun. Wes, David, and I would form trains and go down the bowl. I lost my tube on more than 1 occasion.

We saw a bunch of climber's going up. Wes would like to do that sometime. I think I would die... You can hire someone to outfit you and go up for a couple hundred bucks. Maybe one of these years.

The things kids say...

It's amazing what kids pick up on. Shalon went up to Cutler this morning and said something to the effect of "you're driving me crazy." Hmm... maybe I say this to much?

Cutler's 6 Month Pictures

I've been meaning to post this for quite some time. Susan and I took these pictures the 1st week in September.

His stats... He has 2 teeth on the bottom. At his 6 month check up he was 26 1/2 inches long and 17 lbs. 9 oz.

Working on it...

I have been putting this off to say the least... You get caught up in life and blogging takes a back seat. I keep meaning to update but then think... There is so much that I want to post and I don't have time for that. Well this week is going to be catch up week. So stay tuned... I'm crossing my fingers.

I got on the computer shortly after I put Shalon to bed at 9 pm. It is now 1 am... I must be crazy. This is why I haven't been on the computer. I got on my email. I normally check it with some frequency but haven't as of late. I had 50 messages in my inbox to go thru. Now that that's done and I have completely caught up on other's blogs I will attempt my own... tomorrow... Now I'm tired and Cutler is sure to get me up bright and early.
