The "Barney" Park

One day when Wes was at home we took the kids to the park by our house. It's only a couple blocks away. We call it the Barney park because as you can tell there is a purple dinosaur. The kids love the slides. Shalon likes to swing but Cutler would rather be anywhere else.

Aunt Caryl's vist

Aunt Caryl came back in March. She spent the night with us and then headed on to Kaycee to pick up her new horse. The kids loved having her here and kept her up late watching Tinkerbell. She came back Sunday morning and gave Shalon a ride. She loved it. Cutler liked looking at the horse but didn't want a ride. The horse was very gentle especially because it had only been ridden over the last month or so. Hopefully we can go visit her and ride horses again. Thanks for coming!

Wes' Birthday

Wes' birthday was March 23rd. Wes's parents had the kids for the weekend and brought them back for his birthday. We went out for dinner at Sanfords. These are the only pictures I got of him on his birthday.

Home Improvements

Work has been slow. Wes was pretty much laid off for 2 weeks in March so he did some "honey do" projects on our home improvement list. He raised the floor 11 inches where you used to go downstairs. Then sheetrocked the wall, put down new flooring, and we moved the fridge over there. It makes my kitchen appear so much bigger and now I have room for a 6 or 7 foot table. Yay! Good job dear.

Shalon couldn't bear the noise so I got her these shooting earmuffs. It made all the difference.

Yes the fridge is now so tall I can't reach on top of it. Wes thinks it's nice that it's at his level.

Trip to Oregon

Our trip to Oregon was fun. On the way we stopped over at Laura's. I got to visit with family. We had a baby shower for Laura. All my siblings sang at David's farewell and Laura played the flute. I really didn't take many pictures and had hoped to get some more from family.

Cutler's 1st Birthday Party

Cutler turned 1 on February 23rd. We weren't going to be home for his birthday so we celebrated a couple days early before we left on our trip to Oregon. He is such a fun little boy and is in to everything. He loves electronics. He and Shalon get along for the most part but having toys that are the same is a plus so we don't have fights.

At his 1 year checkup he weighed 19.8 lbs (8th percentile), height 29.5 inches (37th percentile), and head circumference 18.7 inches (77th percentile).
