We decided to take a detour on the way home and went back to Mt. Rushmore just to take pictures. We used our parking pass (which is good for a year) and just stayed in the parking lot. It ended up being about an additional 50 miles but we did see the heads. We also stopped by Devils Tower on the way home. We didn't actually drive in but took pictures along the side of the road. We wanted to get home.
