Catching up

So I keep meaning to post but just don't quite get around to it. So I am multi-tasking. Blogging and feeding the baby at the same time...

This summer seems to have gone by extremely fast. Here it is already August... This year my parents have over doubled grandchildren. My sister and brother both had babies in July. Soren and Alexis.

My own kids are growing up so fast. Cutler is rolling over and is very flexible. He's now 5 months old. He has been fussy over the last week and is either on a growth spurt or is teething. However I have seen no evidence of teeth. He has slept thru the night very well since he was 2 months old and is now wanting to get up to eat. Hopefully this goes away soon. Shalon is very independent. She loves to say "I did it" about everything. Some of her other favorite phrases are "no Daddy, stop it" and "it's goot (good)". Yesterday she got to play on the trampoline with the sprinkler underneath. She kept calling her swimming suit a swimming soup.

We have had a lot of summer projects. Wes made me some flower beds in the front yard (Iguess I should take a picture of them. They turned out nice and the flowers are actually blooming.) Uncle David came over a couple weeks ago and helped Wes drill a well. We did hit water but there is at least 4 feet of sandy mud in the bottom of it. We rented a trash pump to get it out but just succeeded in plugging up the pump so now we are going to plan b. We are going to pound in pipe or I should say Wes is. However he is working on a side job right now which he's trying to finish up this week so he can get back to working around our house. :)

He had to work out of town in Casper the last 2 weeks but is now back home. The first week the kids and I went down with him. We had a good time. I'll post about that later...
