The Bill
I recieved the EOB from the insurance company the other day regarding Shalon's kleenex removal from her nose. I about fell over from sticker shock... The Dr's office charged the insurance company $394.00 Utterly ridiculous. I don't know how much of that I have to pay yet. I have to fill out paperwork like an accident report because they were charged so much or something... I should have asked for the "special tweezers" they used because I'm pretty sure they threw them away after they were used. I caught her stuffing kleenex up her nose again the other day, luckily I caught her in time and only had to get one piece out.

That is awful. I'm always amazed at how high the doctor's bills are and we've only had to take our kids in for well visits. I've always assumed it would be worse if there was something wrong.
Oh you've got to love foreign bodies in the nose. We've had giant Nerds (the candy), and pencil erasers in the nose. I took the tweezers to her nose myself because I am well aware of the charges. Kallie also swallowed a battery at about 14 mos old. Isn't the billing lovely?!!! Start hiding the tissue :-) Good luck!
