Memorial Weekend Trip- Part 3

May 24th- This is what the weather was like when we went to Mt. Rushmore. It was a little dissapointing. We walked around the trails and looked at the museums. There are a lot of stairs.

Clearing momentarily.

After seeing Mt. Rushmore we were going to go to Reptile Gardens but instead went impulsively to Bear Country. It's like a drive thru wildlife thing. All I can say is they must make loads of money because it was packed and they don't charge per car it's per person in the car. Yikes! What was supposed to take 30-45 minutes to drive thru took well over an hour. We were thinking it was pretty lame until we got Shalon out of her carseat and let her drive the car. She made it all worth it. When we finally got around to the bears she would tap on the glass and cry "beaw" (she can't say r's very well if at all). Wes said that was worth it and after we got out and walked around babyland we went to the gift shop and she was awarded a bear by daddy.
